Draft fits for one team from each division

AFC East

Miami DolphinsAidan O’Connell (QB-Purdue) – A strong-armed quarterback who likes to throw down field. He relies on his arm too often, but he can also throw on the run. His improvisation in this offense could be a good fit. Bottom line: the Dolphins need insurance at the quarterback position.

AFC North

Baltimore RavensDorian Thompson-Robinson (QB-UCLA) – DTR has a thin frame but he’s experienced, intelligent and dangerous as a ball carrier. He progressed as a passer over his four years starting at UCLA, and scored a lot of touchdowns on both the ground and through the air. The concepts at UCLA should translate to the offense they’re running in Baltimore.

AFC South

Jacksonville JaguarsZach Charbonnet (RB-UCLA) – A physical, downhill runner who can wear down defenses, Charbonnet would add some punch to this backfield. His skillset would compliment Travis Etienne, who is more of a slasher, and also give this offense a receiving threat on early downs. He excels at creating yards after contact.

AFC West

Los Angeles ChargersSean Tucker (RB-Syracuse) – A thick back with long speed and good vision, Tucker would compliment Austin Eckler in the way that the Chargers were hoping of their other backs. He’s powerful as a runner and has the break-away speed to be a quality starter at the next level.

NFC East

New York GiantsMichael Wilson (WR-Stanford) – A likely day-two selection, Wilson played in a Stanford offense that was largely inept in 2022. His physical traits and quickness out of breaks would give the Giants the type of player they wanted in Kenny Golladay. He’s able to make people miss after the catch, and has shown the ability to go up and high-point the ball, giving the Giants a much-needed red zone threat.

NFC North

Minnesota VikingsJalin Hyatt (WR-Tennessee) – With Justin Jefferson commanding attention as the Vikings premier receiver, adding Hyatt would help open up this offense. While he ran a limited route tree in college, his track-speed would give the Vikings a deep threat, especially in the play-action game.

NFC South

Atlanta FalconsBijan Robinson (RB-Texas) – The Falcons would have to draft him early, but by picking Robinson they would get a true bell-cow back who could help them control leads and grind out wins. Robinson is the best running back prospect to come out in years, and he has All-Pro potential.

NFC West

Seattle Seahawks Jordan Addison (WR-USC) – A true slot receiver at the next level, Addison was highly productive in college while playing with two future pros at quarterback his final two years. His route running ability and quickness out of his breaks would give the Seahawks a nice weapon underneath and help diversify the offense.
